Section 10: Project management and autonomous agent workflows with Manus
Scenario 92: Risk register and risk heat map
Level: Intermediate · Tools: Manus Projects, More > Visualization, CSV or XLSX upload, Data Analysis & Visualization [167] [172]
Who and in what situation
Murat manages the maintenance transformation at the production facility. He keeps risks, likelihood-impact assessments and mitigation measures from weekly meetings in Excel.
How it is done today
Murat copies notes into the risk register, merges similar rows and manually color-codes high-impact risks. When the owner changes, he also searches old files.
How to do it with AI
- Add the risk methodology, responsibility glossary and current register as shared files in a Project. [167]
- Open More > Visualization and upload the CSV or XLSX file using Upload Data. [172]
- Ask it to standardize the risks using fields for likelihood, impact, score, owner, last review date, mitigation measure and next step. If the scoring formula is not in the source, do not have it calculate scores.
- Generate a risk register, executive summary and heat map; you can request the output as a dashboard, report or webpage. [172]
- Cross-check high-priority rows against the meeting notes and with the record owner, then manually enter them into the main system.
Example prompt
Review the {file name} risk register. Use likelihood, impact and the scoring formula only if they are defined in the file. For each risk, extract the mitigation measure, open action, owner, deadline and source row. Leave missing fields blank and add them to a “to be verified” list. Prepare an executive summary and heat map; do not modify the main file.Evidence and real-world example
No independently published case study was found. The official Data Analysis & Visualization documentation describes data uploads, natural-language analysis, chart and report outputs, and examples of performance monitoring and financial trends. [172]
Points to consider
The documentation states that the current version does not focus on real-time data streams and that the data needs to be cleaned. Do not leave risk scores governed by organizational policy to the model’s assumptions. Assess the handling of uploaded commercial or personal data as authorized content against your organization’s privacy rules. [172] [180]
